IN THE NEWS: Employee of Choice Launches New Employee Advocacy Mobile App & Receives 2021 Webby Award Nomination

ATLANTA, GA, May 24, 2021— Employee of Choice, Inc., a black and woman owned social enterprise announces the launch of new alternative to Human Resources (HR), MyZolve-HR’s Alter Ego.  Following a soft launch in July 2020, this official launch of the mobile and online application offers unique workplace advice to employees and supports them from anywhere by providing a technical employee advocacy solution with untainted advice on workplace issues.  The mobile app is available on Android and iOS platforms in addition to the web.

The app’s free Self-Help Tool offers a true “safe space” for employees to access prepared content on their specific concern by answering a series of questions.  Additional services such as chats, video/audio sessions and ongoing case management can be accessed by purchasing credits.   These credits can also be donated to friends, family and others who may be in need of one on one advice from one of the highly experienced Employee Advocates. MyZolve’s loyalty lies with the employees. “Bosses not welcome.”

“As true advocates for society’s most vulnerable employees, we are committed to empowering black women and other underestimated groups  to take control of their own employment retention by offering this safe space into the palm of their hands” states Meme Scott, Founder of Employee Choice, Inc. and the MyZolve brand.  While MyZolve-HR’s Alter Ego is available to anyone in need, its target market is African American women.

MyZolve-HR’s Alter Ego, is a 2021 Webby Award nominated app, recognized as one of the best on the web in the Public Service & Activism category.   Hailed as the “Internet’s highest honor” by The New York Times, The Webby Awards is the leading international awards organization honoring excellence on the Internet, including Websites and Mobile Sites, Video, Advertising, Media & PR, Apps and Software, Social, Podcasts, Games, and Virtual & Remotes. Why We’re “HR’s Alter Ego”

MyZolve was born out of Employee of Choice, Inc. (EOC) which is an organization committed to advocating for the world’s citizens in the workplace, improving their ability to interact more effectively at work in order to reduce the likelihood of unemployment (aka getting fired). EOC’s vision was to create a safe space for the world’s most vulnerable employees to discuss and resolve workplace issues at a minimal to no cost.

Enters MyZolve … a mobile app and web platform that serves as “HR’s Alter Ego”, providing employees with on-demand access to workplace advice. MyZolve provides users with a FREE self-help tool that allows them to describe the situation they are facing and provides advice and resources to start them on the path to resolution.

Additionally, there are low-cost chat and call (voice + video) options that put users in touch with an expert Employee Advocate for unbiased and confidential assistance. For more complex matters, the platform provides the option to open a case, where users are able to engage with an Employee Advocate for an extended period of time as they work together to develop a plan of action to address the users concern.

One of the main things that stands out about MyZolve is the fact that it is a place where “Your Boss is Not Welcome!” That’s right, MyZolve works directly with employees and does not accept funds from corporations in order to avoid bias and to ensure confidentiality for our users. We understand that when faced with challenges such as rebutting a negative performance review or more complex issues such as discrimination, there are simply times when people feel more comfortable seeking outside advice. HR’s Alter Ego is the perfect solution.

Don’t hesitate to take the first step to resolving your workplace concerns today. Our team is committed to advocating on your behalf for the best possible outcome!
